Well...as most of you know Austin passed the TCLEOSE test this past winter and like 3 other generations before him has started his career as a police officer. He started today, with South Houston Police Department.
Telling him that he was in for a life of extra-jobs, night shift, Tuesday/Wednesday off and a load of paperwork never detoured him! He and his FTO made one traffic stop today and transported a "very nasty" person to Harris Co. S.O. (I don't think he meant bad when he said "nasty". I think he meant that he stunk up the car.) Not too exciting for his first day, but if he goes through the rest of his career like that, it's just fine with me.
Anyway, if you ever stumble off into South Houston (let's hope you don't)....look Austin up. He's the big gorilla with a grin on his face ear to ear.
